Halt!!!

So I have been wanting to track my progress with my half marathon training, but I have had some health issues along the way which has made me slow down a bit! If you want to read the whole story, go to my family blog.

If you don't have an invite, just send me your email address and I will send you an invite. Anyway, so my "health problems" are due to the fact that my innards are kind of falling out. So even though we really wanted another baby (and knew it would be a rough, beyond rough pregnancy) it just isn't going to happen. I need some major repairs on my girly parts. So on March 29th, I will be going in for surgery to have a hysterectomy...along with other fun things!

On May 7th, I am signed up to do a half marathon with most of the members of the Marshall Family, but that's not going to happen. I feel like I am letting them all down. Even though I know I couldn't do anything about it, I still feel so bad! But I will be there at the finish line and next year we will all do another one...and you can bet I will be there running my heart out!

The other issue is that for 6 weeks after the surgery I can't lift anything heavier than 25 pounds and I have to take it WAY easy! Then 4-5 months after the surgery I can't do any aerobics. This is a major blow to me, being that I am an aerobics instructor! I have cried way too many tears over this whole thing, but I need to move on and be grateful for the three beautiful children that I have! So the biggest thing I will focus on after surgery is food. In order to make sure I am staying healthy without working out at all...is eating right!
